Comfortable and clean.
The "spa" needs a revamp/clean, there were no lockable showers and the "jacuzzi" was barely warm and a little smelly! It looked like this was being run independantly of the hotel as the state of the spa facilities did not reflect the quality of the hotel and other facilities.
It is a nice and Quiet hotel
Before I made my booking, I went to the hotel and asked the room price, they told me it costs JD90 per night and this was the last price. I made the booking throug Booked.net at JD70 including all taxes. The hotel should have fixed price for all guests. Otherwise it is a kind of cheating.
Special Thanks to Mr. Saleh Khatib (Reception Manager) and his assistant Mr. Firas and Mrs. Farah. They are really professional and supportive. The location was excellent and the hotel was comfortable. The hotel is undergoing some renovation for better improvement. I wish them every success. Thanks
My special thanks and appreciation to Mr. Saleh Khatib (Reception Manager at imperial palace in Amman) who provided every support and help to make our stay a wonderful one. Also, thanks goes to Mr. Feras for all the help and professional manners and ethics. I would stay again definitely because of the money value, luxury and location. Thank you
1.Electrical plugs two in room , it was behind the bed , difficult to reach , and plugs are burnt . 2.if you pay in dollar ,exchange rate to JD is very bad 3.small & old TV , not as written on Booked.net 4.booked room with one double bed , got two single beds room ! and reception refused to change room ! 5.very small closet and dirty from inside 6.the safe was not digital and not working , key broken !! 7.they gave me one free small water bottle during the 3 nights !! 8.one of the two beds is not comfortable at all 9.very tiny single beds 10.room very small to be called a superior room !! 11.water in bathroom not hot enough, low water pressure & shower dosh not working well 12.bathroom very old fashioned and bad design not comfortable 13.internet is not free , and very expensive 14.no free paper slippers !!! 15.i had to ask many times to give shampoo and shower gel after the first package finished .!!!! 16.Reception not organized , kept me waiting 15 mints just to give the room key ! it was lost !!
Old and dirty hotel with poor breakfast.
Not a lot although the room was reasonably comfortable
Staff attitude. The breakfast was of a very poor standard....fruit juice was cheap and nasty, coffee was almost undrinkable and the scrambled eggs looked so bad I would not even think of trying them. The so called bar was a blatant rip off. I was charged 27 dinars for a draft beer and a double gin and tonic.....you can buy a whole bottle of gin for less than half of that.
Tv at rooms are old model and should change to flat screen , also bathrooms faucets are old models need to change to new one specialy the shower head .
A/C is very baaadddddddddd.... Lack of Parking Lots Very Pooorrr Breakfast
, Bathrooms are not nice, Water pressure is bad, No Normal outlets in Hotel, No Parking. The Hotel is old and rooms are not well maintained
The location is meaningless; not close to anywhere; not to the airport, not to the city centre, not easy to find a cab, except the one hotel arranges and in which case the price is overrated. Decoration and its kept wise, it is contradictory to the name. May be an "imperial palace" forgotten and not taken care. If you still have chosen it, bargain hard for extra services.
Reception staff would carefully listen to the customers and act to help the customer in the best possible way.
3.5 star hotel. Carpet old and dirty but over all clean room. Staff good except for one lady with no customer service at 4pm on March 21.
- Nice room - Nice bed - Nice shower - Nice hotel in general - Rather good breakfast compared to other 4 star hotels in Amman
- Some issues with services: no transportation available although booked the day before; laundry over-charged (price of dry cleaning used instead...) - Poor health center: averaged temprature in sauna, shower not working well...
Nothing. Reception staff were cold - but the same goes for most Jordanians - they are not pleasant to deal with.
All the floors were smoky. I had to check out at Midnight after not being able to handle the smoke Earlier in the day I had requested for a room shift and for that to be managed by the staff in my absence - not noted and not done. My wake up call came an hour earlier than scheduled. By international standards -this was a 2 star property. Very disappointing!
